The Faculty are the principal holders of responsibilities through their direct involvement in every aspect of the Institute: academics, research, publications, consultancy and academic administration. They combine the very highest standards of research, teaching and mentoring with diverse backgrounds as educators, policy makers, researchers, theoreticians, educators and consultants.

IAMR faculty members are active and regular participants in international conferences and symposia. They contribute to international journals and collaborate with a broad range of agencies to develop and execute consultancy projects.

Faculty members serve on various national and international committees and policy formulation boards of a rich variety of organisations in both private and public domains. These include corporations, cooperative societies, national governmental organisations, academic institutions, national agencies such as Planning Commission, Council for Advancement of People's Action and Rural Technology etc. and international agencies such as International Labour Organisation, World Health Organisation  and World Trade Organisation. Such active involvement generates precious cross-fertilisation and ensures that IAMR remains a vibrant academic community.
